Sadly this has little to do with NASCAR as much as a national agenda for change through racial intimidation.
 
I carry a noose in my pocket every day attached to my keys on one end and a monkey fist on the other. I guess that makes me a racist.

Can I hang a noose in my own yard, burn a cross in my own yard or is that offensive to someone?
 
I was doing a repair in a restaurant with a helper. We were behind shelving when two black ladies came into the storage room talking to each other. “Where are those crackers.” I popped my head up from behind the shelves and said “ here we are.” My helper lost it.

That shit show they put on before the race was for press. NASCAR is dead to people after this week. I’ve heard it from diehards my age and younger all week. Hope football and basketball is next. I once loved sports and coached. These spoiled drama queens need a economics lesson.

How in the hell am I suppossed to carry a rope, a hose or an extension cord without offending someone?

Not that I have a single F left for this issue, they’ve worn me out.

Figures, blacks from that area of our country have a hard time being black in this day and age. Most will easily pass for whites in demeanor and attitude, very easy to associate with.

I don't really follow racing any more. He's actually driving the 43 car? That's a lot of responsibility and deserves better.

And the noose. If it's that little thing on that little cord, it doesn't make much of a statement if it is. Kid stuff. It's a loop end pull, unless it's wrapped back up the cord and is adjustable. The knob or handle likely came off and the loop was tied to help with pulling the cord.

Come to think about it why is all the fault placed on Wallace and NASCAR. I’m sure there was not one person in that pit area dumb enough to think a door rope could pass for a noose yet they all paraded down pit road pretending to mourn a bad deed. To me this is display of the corporate evil being brought to bear by having their well paid lapdogs toe the line in their shameful show of being duped.

I’ve gotta think that the other teams never saw it, that it was cordoned off as a crime scene while the taxpayers spent maybe $100,000 to investigate. Maybe the team should reimburse the taxpayers? Maybe there was a false report filed that needs to be acted upon?

I could respect Bubba if he would just say in all the interviews that he is giving that this whole thing is just a nothing burger and let's all move on. But noooooooo, he's got to play the victim and race card along with NOOSECAR milking it for all the publicity they can get.

lol yeah now they are putting up pictures of the "noose" after all the other pictures have been around for days showing the pull and the then cut rope. Trying to save their narrative!

If you look at the picture NASCAR says is the rope in that stall you see that it rained that day. It didn't rain at Talledega last week. It rained Sunday, the day of the race and this Wednesday. So this can't be the rope and noose in question. NASCAR has to be involved in this hoax too.

This is true! I can actually understand that he feels "attacked" (bubba smollett and he is in on a hoax etc) and is pissed but he could have made this disappear like it should have.

EDIT: To add comment on the NASCAR released photo above. Online several people have noted that the rope in the image both looks brand new and is quite dissimilar to a typical garage pull rope as well as it does not appear to match the rope in the existing images of it from 2019.

You know, before I didn't want to give him the benefit of the doubt. But..that looks like a noose. And I think he only heard about it second hand. I'll give his team the benefit of the doubt.

Yeah, it looks a little too clean to me. I'd expect it have have at least a little grease or brake clean on it somewhere...
