Revolver Picture Thread

I’ve thought about that, just haven’t done it. I’ve also got the original grips.

You probably are aware, the original grips are very prone to breaking. There's a guy here in NC that sells reasonable reproductions of the New Service grips. I had to trim mine some to fit but they are serviceable reproductions.

Good to know. Thanks

Here is mom's carry gun that I would "borrow" from time to time, at least until she yelled at me to give it back. She gave it to me as a present the last Christmas we had together before she passed, along with the Milt Sparks holster it came with when she bought it.

A real treasure and shoots lights out.

Love the Smith 327... had a chance to buy one, missed it.

2008 Smith marketing people: What should we call the updated Model 27? How 'bout the Model 327? There will never be a cartridge named 327.

2008 Ruger Marketing people: What should we call the improved 32 mag? How 'bout 327 magnum? There will never be a revolver model named 327.

Found her today lonely walking around in someone’s back pocket
Asked if she was for sale, though she’s not perfect she deserved a better life
Whether she liked it 0r not she went home with me
At least I’m not taking candy from a baby her DOB is 1971

That is perfect, you can carry it proudly and not have to worry about it.

Picked this Police Positive up today from one of our members. Realized when I got home why I sold my last 2, grips are too small. Gonna see if I can locate a Tyler T and maybe will convince myself to hang onto her.

Converted both of these Blackhawks to Bisley grip frames. Both in .45 Colt, the 4 inch has a 45ACP cylinder as well. One is rust browned, the other SS. I just need to get some grips made (not sure who does this, open to suggestions) and figure out how to make the front sights not suck.
I‘m still learning about 45 Colt loads. I want to come up with a stiff but not brutal general purpose load recipe; something more than the SAA-level factory loads, but a little less than full-blown palm stingers.
