i like that you try to love 45 so hard but it gives you no love back lolShot a couple of magazines of .45 in a borrowed RIA with a 3" barrel. Just a little recoil-y for me, but sort of ok to carry.
Shot a magazine in the CZ and put it back on my belt for the ride home from Battery Oaks.
I guess the "carrying a 1911 in .45" trials are over. (For now.) Not going to work for me. ( For now.) I tried.
Well, not to carry anyway!i like that you try to love 45 so hard but it gives you no love back lol
For a reloader, being able to catch all of your brass, but all of it is 22LR, is like kissing your sister.I shot a little today. I didn't feel like doing the work of picking up brass or setting up a brass catching net... so I grabbed a bucket.
Shot my heritage 22lr, my remington pump 22lr, and my henry mares leg lever 22lr.
all brass ejected into the bucket, steel targets made a polite clang.
Been every day for the last 11 days at least.

Yes, only paper/steel targets. Put a new barrel on my 10.3" AR 2.5 yrs ago. Yesterday was keyholing at 3 yds and well past gauged (I've been watching it). Put on a new Colt 10.3" bbl and zero'd it this afternoon.Hope it's just been at targets...

Normally I would say that is a butt-ugly paint job on that gun, but it actually improves the looks of a Hipoint.
(I can say that, I own three). And the best reason for owning a Glock is so that the Hipoint won't be the ugliest gun in the safe.
I had good luck with the 40 pistol until recently, I get light strikes with it now. I need to box it up and send it back, I think the striker slot in the slide is worn out.I sometimes miss them. I sold you some of them way back. Mine never ran as reliably for me as they seem to for everybody else but they were fun to shoot.
Yes. I know most of you say a bad day at the range is better than a good day most anywhere else, and generally I’d agree. But today was one of those days I’d have been better off staying at home a lighting $100 bill on fire.
I was hoping to sight in a scope on my 6.8 SBR. Have always just run a red dot on it, but traded some ammo (maybe late last year?) for a 1-6X Primary Arms scope. Pulled the BCG out and boresighted it on a neighbor’s tree earlier this week.
Got to PHA today and shot a little rimfire, then headed to the 200yd range. It’s an ACSS scope so I’m supposed to sight it in at 100yds, then use the reticle markings for other distances.
After it going from bad to worse on the first mag, I figured out I’d not gotten the scope mount tight enough on the upper. Tighten that up, moved to the next mag and kept going. I’d brought some mags I’d loaded months ago and didn’t look too close...just noticed they were all FMJ (and not any of my Hornady V-Max). Well, turns out the 2nd mag was some other brand (Remington instead of S&B), and so I’d chased it in one direction only to swap back to a mag of S&B and have to chase it back.
I made some noise, punched some holes, but ended up just packing everything and leaving...no closer to being sighted in than when I started. At that point I was frustrated enough it wasn’t going to do any good to send more coin downrange.
Never even got to attempt shots at 200.
Next time I need to just find somebody to play spotter, and double-check what I’m doing.
