Think Your Guns are Off the Grid? 6-Ways They are Tracking You

If you ever bought a brand new gun, it is easily traced to you with 1 or 2 phone calls from the .gov.
In SC and I think in N.C. too, when you fill out a 4473 form, a copy DOES NOT go to any government agency. It stays in the possession of the FFL holder with the exception that if you purchase multiple handguns in a 7 day period, those purchases are reported. So unless the government knows which dealer to call, they have no clue

I had a subscription to soldier of fortune magazine for a while back in the 90s. LOL I’m sure I’m on a watchlist somewhere :p

With 59 years remaining on my NDA from my (long expired) TS-SCI & NATO Atomic security clearances, along with a small collection of tax stamps/King's permission slips, I'm pretty sure I'm already on a few lists.

Don't much like it, but not gonna sweat it at this point.

Having retired after working for the government for 30 years , am i still a moron , a retired moron or not a moron anymore.? Just wonderin.

I did the same and it depends who you talk too. My wife still thinks we are morons.

Bahamadon, You probably still are if you were while working. If you were not while working, retirement would not make you one. I have no way of knowing whether you were among the majority or among the minority.
With me i think it varies from day to day.

All of that is true. However if an FFL closes, all 4473 forms are sent to the BATF and they scan them into a database.

However, new guns are only new once. If a gov agency wants to know who bought gun XYZ they contact the maker who says who it was shipped to. The Distributor then says what shop it was sent to. The shop knows who they sold it to new.

Those that make these "list" parameters also have algorithms that track those that are not on any "lists". These programs look for shadows that move. So the technologies have advanced far beyond the capabilities for the average person to evade.

At this point you almost have to be "blank" at birth. Of course if you are one of the "privileged" few to have this done after birth you are already being used by the swamp. And for sure you are ABSOLUTELY sure you are doing the right thing.

The abyss is immense.

Certainly it could work that way. Most people think when they fill out a 4473 that the gun is "registered to them" but not quite that way. I did talk to a friend in NJ and he said there if you purchase a handgun it is immediately registered with the state by the dealer, so in some states a gun could be registered to you but thankfully we don't have that kind of registration. LEO have no data base around here to check anything about a firearm except to see if it has been reported stolen and in NC and SC if you report a gun stolen, then once it hits NCIC then its tied to you forever and that is nationwide and not the state.
