Godzilla: King of the Monsters trailer

I watched all the old Godzilla movies growing up. This looks good as long as Godzilla isn’t just a cameo in it like in the last one.
 
Looking forward to Eleven waving her hand and stopping King Ghidorah in his tracks.

Speaking of, they should remake that monster so that it's slightly less insulting to physics. The term "bird legs" or "chicken legs" derives from the fact that birds have super skinny legs - for a reason!

King Ghidora, who clearly does not skip leg day in the monster gym, has legs that would require enormous wings to achieve lift.

I'm afraid that this trailer makes me think of the Mitchell & Webb skit: "Are We the Baddies?"

I'm just increasingly uncomfortable with our place in the narrative structure of this war.

Using their mesmerizing harmony, they are the only ones that can convince Godzilla and Mothra to work together to defeat Ghidorah.
 
Saw the preview when we went to see BumbleBee today. Can’t imagine a dumber movie being made in 2019. (Referring to Godzilla...cause BumbleBee was awesome!!). And that’s only because Aquaman came out in 2018, and it managed to be even dumber than than the previews indicated it would. :eek:

I’ve now suffered through two more previews before Avengers: Endgame. Can’t remember if it was the same one from BumbleBee or not. But every time I see something about this movie, it makes me even less likely to watch it.

While there’s no chance I’m going to see it, I really do hope that it doesn’t let down those of you looking forward to it...especially those with fond memories of Godzilla movies.

You shut your mouth! One of my fondest memories was Godzilla himself flying after the Smog Monster!
 
So I came downstairs for lunch today and found my wife watching this movie. She said she was tired of Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother reruns.

There are subject matters far too complex for the female mind to grasp.
Just wait till they come out with The Three Stooges meet Godzilla. That'll blow her mind.
