That Lab...reminds me of Sampson. I LOL’d when saw the photo of him, chilling on the raft...reminded me of some good times.

I hate that Maryland is such a liberal, horribly run state, because it has so much to offer. I love the east and the west; the I95 corridor/Baltimore, not so much. The beaches are lovely, even if the water is too chilly for my taste.

Kind of like upstate New York, which had some of the nicest state park campgrounds I've stayed at, back in the days when we went tent camping.

Forgive me if I’ve said this before but I grew up in Silver Spring. Right near White Oak shopping center.

I had family in Silver Spring and spent many a summer day there as a kid. They lived on Flower Ave. Actually, we spent most of the time on the B&O canal hiking and fishing. Never got to explore Great Falls like I wanted to.

Yeah, both the B&O canal and Great Falls are fun day trips.
 
We stopped at the aquarium in Baltimore on the way to Pennsylvania to see my wife's grandpa today.

Edit: I agree that Maryland could be such a great place to live if there wasn't a small geographical area controlling it. Looks like a great time with the family.

I'll try to see where my great grandparents lived, I visited their old home two or three years ago.
