Tramel was questioned at Tampa General Hospital but denied involvement, deputies said. Then he told them that Casado wanted to rob the homeowner, according to his arrest report, so he rode with the two men. They wore masks and gloves and armed themselves.

When he heard gunfire, Tramel said he went into the home and ended up getting shot, the report said. ;)

I’m glad I clicked the second link...so I could see this ad. :D

If LE links the shooter to the dead guys as known associates it’s a bad day for the homeowner.

Yeah, that's a questionable part...
But i've known some questionable people... and i long ago stopped posting gun pictures to social media.

At the end the press cries about not being able to dox the innocent gun owner.

"Sheriff’s officials did not identify the homeowner because of their interpretation of Marsy’s law, a constitutional amendment that is designed to protect crime victims but also deprives the public of information that has historically been provided in Florida."

Glocks jam... fancy that!

Even if there was a relationship between the perps and the homeowner, it doesn't keep the homeowner from defending himself.

Pull out a 10mm rifle, and perps run away!

Homeowner called neighbor first, then 911... good thing, or the third guy might have escaped.

"These two individuals have very violent criminal histories -- extremely violent," Nocco said.
We desperately need to reform the legal system and penal system. They shouldn’t have been out in public. Probably shouldn’t have been breathing.

Never seen a Glock jam unless it was limp wristed according to the RO that was running the shooter who jammed. Shot IPSC/USPSA for 15+ yrs and a lotta guys shot/shoot Glocks dirty, clean, wet, dry...no jams.

Calling Promag. Why you'd have a Kriss and Promag, I dunno. But calling Promag. Or journalist doesn't know the difference between empty mag and jammed gun. :p

Given the inherent lack of accuracy/details in news articles, "jam" could mean "slide locked open on empty magazine".

He had already shot two perps and was working on the third when this "jam" happened. Coulda just run outta ammo and didn't have a fresh magazine.

On that jamming issue....I've seen Every make from P '08s to last week's Glock manufacture fail here. Revolvers included. This is the place "Perfection" goes to take a Poop!
I've seen a couple of Glock 40S&W's go bang on extracting and ejecting to show clear. One was at Skip J Range in Anderson SC at an Area 6 one year. Required stitches.
