Nice color on that shirt.
Will you wearing it to school if they open or is that a no-no political statement?
Yeah that's a touchy one, I dont know that i'd wear it in front of kids. MAYBE to practice one day, but I doubt it, mainly cause Im not trying to get sweat stains all over it.
School is touchy, though. That said, I did show his video in class once. Kids were asking me a few months ago (voting day) who I was voting for, I said the ONLY candidate I truly believed in was MR. They asked why (good job kids!) and I told them that I liked his 2A stance, God fearing man, he spoke from the heart and with passion. I told them that he gave a great speech and they asked to hear/see it. I played a minute for them. I think, in my opinion, it was good for some of my black students to see this black man speak the way he did.
Anyway, end of class I typically show CNN10 (student news program, really good usually), but they asked to watch the rest of the video. One girl even said that I need to show it to all of my classes - I did not. I would not show a video like that unless asked by the students, I will not push that on them and only shared what I believe since they asked.
I will glady tell a kid my views...to a point...but dont think I'd wear a shirt to school because it might cause a rift between me and a student and Im not putting that into play.
He's a young whippersnapper.
But that is a ugly color T shirt.
Its a WONDERFUL color!!!
As you folks didn't play outside and look like normal folks, have to use the "Millennial Years" scale.
