so, as a rule i try to stay away from internet politics. With that said I've thoroughly enjoyed listening to Mark Robinson as he runs for NC Lt. Governor. He is the 'I am the majority' guy from social media, etc. His claim to fame was his remarkable speech to the Charlotte City Council (i think) about his right to bear arms. A good man.

I do not donate to politicians as a general rule...but i have found myself donating twice to support him. Posting this for you to listen to what he has to say and consider supporting him financially to ensure he can continue his message.

Too bad he's running for basically a do-nothing position. Would have been better off trying for a county commissioner, state rep or senator, etc. The LT Gov is useless as teats on a boar hog until the next governor's election (and even then)

Greensboro City Council, but yeah, he rocks

Greensboro

Saw him speak in person once, I like this guy.
Actually JUST bought a shirt from him
I also commented that they need a 'I AM THE MAJORITY' tee, that it'd raise a TON of money

Go buy a shirt, but be warned, you wont have it for about three weeks from today, which sort of sucks.
I'd prefer less options and it get mailed out now

I met him in person at a rally. He seems to be a good fella, not sure how much effect he will have as Lt . Governor. I liked what he had to say.

Nice color on that shirt.
Will you wearing it to school if they open or is that a no-no political statement?

Yeah that's a touchy one, I dont know that i'd wear it in front of kids. MAYBE to practice one day, but I doubt it, mainly cause Im not trying to get sweat stains all over it.

School is touchy, though. That said, I did show his video in class once. Kids were asking me a few months ago (voting day) who I was voting for, I said the ONLY candidate I truly believed in was MR. They asked why (good job kids!) and I told them that I liked his 2A stance, God fearing man, he spoke from the heart and with passion. I told them that he gave a great speech and they asked to hear/see it. I played a minute for them. I think, in my opinion, it was good for some of my black students to see this black man speak the way he did.
Anyway, end of class I typically show CNN10 (student news program, really good usually), but they asked to watch the rest of the video. One girl even said that I need to show it to all of my classes - I did not. I would not show a video like that unless asked by the students, I will not push that on them and only shared what I believe since they asked.
I will glady tell a kid my views...to a point...but dont think I'd wear a shirt to school because it might cause a rift between me and a student and Im not putting that into play.

He's a young whippersnapper. ;)
But that is a ugly color T shirt.:D

Its a WONDERFUL color!!!

As you folks didn't play outside and look like normal folks, have to use the "Millennial Years" scale.

Late thirties

Seems you may have a brother,

Gaius Baltar.

Just remember Obama was a no-name senator right before he was president.

Voted for him in the primary. I think he and Forest will make a good team. I saw his speach in the VA 2A march.
