I have wide feet and I’m interested in this thread as well. I hate buying shoes because to get them wide enough they’d be too long and I’d look like bozo.
The last pair of boots I bought and I’m wearing them now were dr Martin “Wellington”. I got the widest ones available and have been happy with them. I’m not sure exactly the size but know they are not h.
Wanted to add, I got them very wet several times and they came apart within 6 months of wearing them every day to work and on the farm. I called dr Martin to ask about sending them in for repairs and they sent me another pair free of charge. I didn’t ask for a new pair and was willing to pay for repairs but with service like that I’ll be buying more in the future. I think it was my fault they came apart like they did and now I have muck boots I wear around the farm. My “new” dr Martin’s are still going strong 10 months later.
good luck op

That is my go to boot for over a decade. They last a very long time. Not sure on the rating but I recently bought a pair of timberland pro series work boots with a composite toe that are the most comfortable pair of boots I’ve ever bought.
What did you do that you think caused the failure? Surely getting them wet wasnt the issue
