Happened to run across this auction with a day and a half left! Hasn’t been too long ago you could buy a loaded round for what primers alone are selling for.6F0DA75E-7269-4E6D-9E7E-007BBB8CA0A8.png

Seller with 3 feedbacks and a product that has restricted shipping, this isn’t likely going to end well.

Like I posted yesterday. SPP were in stock at Brownells for all of 4 minutes.

What’s the current value of gently used, once-fired primers?
I just happen to have some gently removed once fired small pistol primers for sale. Somewhere around 3300 pieces. I just decapped them in one sitting, about two hours.

Let the bidding begin. :D

I just saw a article from Jim's gun shop in Fayetteville stating that primers were the main reason they can't find ammo they're saying that it could be possibly three to four years before ammo gets back to where it's supposed to be All depending on several things. I sure am glad I stocked up early and not wait till the S hits the fan and then go crying cuz you can't find nothing. If I see ammo for sale at a decent price I'll buy it but if it's exorbitant I'll pass

It maybe true. We really have no idea at this point. There also seems to be a bottle neck at bullets. Bullet manufacturers cannot get them made fast enough. Lots of places have stopped taking orders so they can catch up.

Glad I stocked up a while ago. Also I have not been able to shoot much this summer. Hopefully that will change in September and I can get back to the range.

I was at Hyatt's today on the off chance they had any primers. They had large pistol, but they said they weren't expecting to see any small pistol for 6 months.

There’s a listing on Greenville sc’s gougelist with 3,000 spp for sale or trade.....

How much were they asking for the LPP?

I think it was $39/k for Federal? No CCI. You can call them or check their web site. They have a dedicated guy to reloading. That's who I was talking to. He does their reloading ordering.
On a side note, He said he had a guy drive down from VA, who had bought 10boxes or 115gr Hornady bullets off their web site, thinking they were loaded ammo. He still had trouble comprehending it when he came to pick them up.

At $40/k Hyatt’s isn’t gouging...that’s 25% off the regular price.

I kid. Last week they had large rifle magnum in stock as well as large pistol. I was buying a few pounds of powder, now I don’t remember what.

I heard the same thing quoted by 2 different ammo manufactures here in the Carolinas. Defender in Fayetteville and Precision One in Charleston. Defender people told one of our friendly dealers that they had over 5 million primers on back order and no idea when they were coming in.

Geez. 62 bux a K...

I grabbed the las 1k of cci400 at 40bux a week ago at a place local to me, and was glad to get it..also grabbed 2 of the last 3 lb cans of h335 at their normal price.

All they had left primer wise was LPP and LRP from various makers.
