Dadgum.
Are ya'll getting the afternoon rain down in the real world every damn day?
Besides swamping my outdoor at-work things that are backing up, me and @fieldgrade got new motorcycles and the rain is killing the buzz you-know.

I figure it's one of two things.
1) Ya'll down in the flatlands living in sin causing it to rain (and now earthquakes)
2) @Triggernosis is playing with his weather changing machine again.

I mean whatever, but you-all need to get on down to the Triple Rock Baptist Church and hear the word from the good Reverend Cleophus James.

We've actually had a couple of days with no rain, but we would get multiple days in a row with a cloud burst every afternoon.

I am a sinner living in the fatlands. It keeps missing our house.....Crazy humidity though. Lots of teasing going on...light shows. Its been fun taking the kids out at night in the country.

it sure has messed with my astronomy hobby.

i have to set the telescope outside an hour before, so it can "defog" (acclimate).
the best meteor storm of the year is this week, and Starlink launched last week,
so those "inline" satellites should be visible about Tuesday.
every evening this past week. right about dark,
it's raining or too cloudy.

if you are interested,
this is the website i use:
heavens-above.com.
and, yes, i wear
mosquito
netting.

Rain most days.
Part of 401 south of Wagram is closed, with a detour, because of the low spots and the swampy woods. Haven't seen that since the hurricane 2 years ago (Florence?)

I really don't think it's that. I'm more thinking it's Triggernosis. He made a weather changing machine out of leather.

I dont think I follow you. Leather craftsman... maybe a holster maker who works as a meteorologist for a day gig?

It's me. I get off work with 18 layers of dried and wet sweat and just want to drink a beer by the pool. I watch the clouds get darker and darker the closer I get to the house. Once I set my foot on the grass out of the truck (yes, I am one of those wretched pieces of white trash that parks on my lawn, you HOA loving lowlifes), the rain is unleashed. I've tried getting right with the world and cussing at it every minute of the day, and neither seem to give me the desired outcome. I'm thinking I'll try Hinduism or Scientology next.

Scientology is boring. Standard cult stuff. Try infiltrating Revcom.US. That will keep you busy

Pretty good guess.
Our member Triggernosis is a meteorologist and even though he's not in the tv prediction part of it we still rag on him for getting it wrong.

since the 4th of July, we have had only 5 24-hour periods when it didn't rain, shower, sprinkle, drizzle, etc.

A customer last week had 53 inches of water in his basement from a creek that couldn’t hold the water. Wasn’t quite that high yet until he opened the down and it washed him across the room into a ping pong table. The heat pump was totally submerged and the next day he started it right up. Miracle.
