So I picked up this NIB Balkai Russian made EAA distributor double barrel. It's a brick, tight as they come, pretty easy to wield as a 20" coach gun. But just awfully stiff. Not fun to manipulate at all straight out of the box.
So there is a cowboy gunsmith named Johnny Meadows out of AZ who smith's these guns and does a fabulous job. Drop open when you hit the lever, reams and polishes cylinders for ease of loading and ejecting. Puts a new, big gold bead on it. And a kickezz recoil pad.
Looking forward to getting it back at the end of the month.
I have a lead on another shotgun in Raleigh thst will make a good back up. Just gotta get down thst way.
