Made a friend playing frisbee golf today.

Ick! I'd have run back to the parking lot with all deliberate speed.

I tolerate non-poisonous reptiles (sort of). The poisonous ones I will run from or dispatch depending on the situation.

Did you get a free lift from that hazard?

As you can see, the pin is closely guarded to the left by a ... and the golfer is well advised to play safe, laying out to the far side of the green.

That, or ...

I think that's inside the leather!

Yeah they’re more dangerous. They have the same amount of venom as an adult but haven’t learned to control the dose.

Step on an adult and you’ll usually get a small dose bite. A GTFO me bite. Step on a baby and you’re getting all she’s got.

FWIW we watched him eat a cricket from a distance and then threw into the basket and I walked around to the other side and picked them out.

Then we hollered at the next group to let them know there was a copperhead about 10 ft from the basket.

Some friends of mine built a nice course in Gastonia and left a pile of logs and wood about 50’ behind a basket. Naturally the first time I played it I end up right next to a pile of crap. And right next to a copperhead about 3’ long. I let them know it was a pain in the ass throwing stuff at the snake to get him away from my disc. They said oh, you met Fred. A-holes.

i’ve had a lot of copperheads around my house over the years. And if I see them they end up D-E-A-D. DEAD.
