OK, so I went to deagle.com. Lots of interesting stuff there. I have yet to find the stuff for population projections, but the best I can figure is that they are anticipating some kind of war.... which would figure since the big part of the stats are military stuff.
If there is a war (and it is not at all unlikely, imo, since when empires collapse they tend to start wars to distract the populace) then those numbers would actually be optimistic. So I have no problem with the website per se. Not sure how this segues into the nonsense about the historicity of the canon and some of the other "refugee from Popular Mechanics" statements, but I have no problems with that part. Some things unspoken I guess, or maybe I just have not seen them.

You don't have to "believe" in blockchain technology to make money from it. It has volatility and volume, which are the only two things a trader cares about.
I do believe that blockchain is going to revolutionize the entire world of buying and selling on the web..... which is to say, almost ALL buying and selling. Governments are also racing to crypto, and there will be a titanic war over whether they can "lock it down" to continue the game of being the only issuers of money (fiat, at that). They will lose.
I think we are actually on the verge of big stuff here.

I would tend to agree. When one is faced with a situation where someone disagrees with ones world view there are generally three ways to handle the conflict:
1. Enhance ones position based on research, facts, cited sources, and elevated reason.
2. Accept that ones preconceived notions may be unfounded, poorly supported, and carry a demand for further scrutiny.
3. Call people stupid because they arent as smart as you, play the victim, and threaten to take your ball and go home.
The third option is generally the one taken by new guys who blindly assume people will think them the same level of genius they have convinced themselves that they are. Which is further made funny when they threaten to take the ball no one wants to play home to a place no one cares if they stay.

If that is all too arcane, the seed version is that there are many of us who are not shocked at all by this assertion.

Pre, mid, and post tribulation rapture discussions are always interesting. Most I've met believe in pretribulation ruptures. An entire thread on that alone would be fantastic.

Not from a restaurant... I have had success finding 20# bags of rice at the 'Around the World Market' Indian grocery stores on 54 btw Raleigh and Durham. Regular groceries were/are often out of bulk rice and are usually more expensive.

One more thing to add... People do not THINK ABOUT their world view. They THINK WITH their world view. It becomes a "lens" as it were through which they filter the so called "facts" they use to build a construct of ideas and beliefs. This is why (besides the normal ego and nastiness that comes from sinful people!) it is so difficult to talk about these things. Oftentimes, it sound utterly ridiculous and absurd to ask people to back off and consider, for example, "WHY, should we accept empirical data as more substantive than non empirical perceptions?" That question will provoke sneers and ridicule from most westerners my age, but it is a perfectly legit question, and based on a challenge to a fundamental "way of viewing." I will sometimes deliberately piss people off in the hopes that they (or maybe onlookers, who are always watching internet wrangling) might need to consider "hey, what if I just adjust the focus here?" There are many area like this where people "ground" their beliefs and are clueless that they are in fact standing on six feet of pure air. My personal experience here is that it is like the lights coming on in a dark room.

I remember when some other dude with affectations of skeptical scholarship came in here blathering all about how Constantine had been the one who decided what books were in the bible and pontificating about how stupid and uninformed we were for believing such dunderheaded nonsense.

Postscript: My further observation is that your average person who appeals to the original tongues have no more idea what they say than they do Ugaritic. I had a friend once who was in a conversation/dispute with someone about "the original Greek" and my friend opened his briefcase and handed him a copy of Westcott and Hort (a Greek text of the NT)..... UPSIDE DOWN, and asked for his commentary on the verse in question. After a second or two of stammering, my friend said "OH DEAR! I AM SO SORRY! I PUT THAT IN FRONT OF YOU UPSIDE DOWN! HERE!" and at that point he turned it right side up and said "NOW THAT SHOULD MAKE IT EASIER FOR YOU TO HELP ME OUT ON THE GREEK."
