I think it's great but what did he do above and beyond any of the other Rangers on that same mission? Why didn't they all get one? Was there something else he did that the news stories didn't tell us?
The MoH speaks for itself but I saw also saw ribbons for the Bronze Star with a couple Oak Leaves and the Purple Heart along with other ribbons for meritorious actions along with all those service and overseas stripes. Sgt Maj Payne has likely taken on more things than most can imagine ... that Ranger Does Lead The Way!
