i believe it to be reloading related.

The button is spring loaded, pressing it allows the micrometer barrel to be removed. The micrometer setting determines the depth of a hole that is opposite the micrometer barrel.

Thanks
Jim

Seconded. Good eye Charlie

You know I have never seen it in a picture like the ones JimB provided. It really is a nice looking piece of equipment. At first I discounted Hornady because the pictures made it look to well machined to be a common variety of powder measure.

That should take all of 3 minutes.

:p

I know, but for some reason I can’t let the Dillon go without trying the LnL.

I have a LnL ammo plant in parts and a SDB on the bench working great. The SDB makes great ammo, and I have every pistol caliber that I need. But, the LnL has bullet and case feeders and has most of the dies I need. It’ll make ammo faster for sure, just need to get it setup and play with it.

And THERE lies the truth. "Play". Who wants to let go of their toys? Reloading is every bit as addicting as shooting and you can only use one gun at a time (two is the limit for sure), but who can own just one or two for that matter??????

Use them ALL well Jim!!!!!!

Shooting used to be my hobby. Then I started reloading, then reloading became my hobby. Then I started wet tumbling, so making dirty brass shine again became my hobby - reloading and shooting are just the means to that end. :p

It is truly a "slippery slope", but then I could have worse habits.

Wait a minute, I do, but this one does not leave much time, or money, for the others.
