PRI Show

Another vintage racer. A friend of mine was the paint & body guy on the original when Burt & Hal were racing it.

Rhine Built is Bill Rhine in Denver, NC, one of the premier race car restoration experts in the country. Not only does he make sure the car is correct but he also puts together paperwork documenting the provenance of a particular car with notarized statements from the original, driver, car owner, crew chief, etc which all adds to the value.

The Garage Shop is Aaron Brown, one heck of a fabricator with a varied racing background from road race motorcycles to NASCAR. Decal on the dash says Catawba but he moved to Denver about 6 months ago, right down the street from Rhine.
Google him, he's a very interesting guy.

Both of those guys were involved in this project.

I'm such a fan of Aaron Brown here's a video to give you an idea of his talents.

.

Forgot the exact year ( 1952-54 ) but there's probably not too much original anyway. It's a diesel powered Bonneville racer. Again just because of the number of people I couldn't get in a good position for a better pic.

Looks like I missed one that should have been in the Drag Week bunch.

Jeff post in a drag racing forum I'm on. He's talked a good bit about the build up of this car. It's a sweet ride.
I also watched the interview with Stevie "Fast" Jackson from PRI today. I miss watching that dude grudge race. If anyone wants to watch some crazy stuff and a very funny dude, check out Steve Jackson, or killin time racing on youtube.

Is that what he built to replace the '57 that crashed or just another car?

Just another car. The Camaro was debuted in 2016 if I'm not mistaken. There is another dude named Bill Lutz that post on the same site, and I always get them mixed up because he's got a really nice Camaro also.

I need one of those motors horseshoed in my Farmall 560 pulling tractor.
