This could be a possibility if the Disney - Fox deal goes through (likely announcement this week). Disney is looking to buy Fox's movie and TV studios. Disney and Marvel have the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), from which X-Men and Fantastic Four are excluded because Marvel sold cinematic rights to those to Fox.

If the deal goes through, X-Men and FF could/would be folded into the MCU. I imagine Disney would attempt a reboot of Fantastic Four, which flopped in Fox's multiple attempts at making good FF movies.

Not sure what it would mean for Deadpool (easily one of Fox's best Marvel character movies) - does Disney want to associate with the R-rated content?

And of course, given the success of Captain America: Civil War, the temptation to make and monetize X-Men vs Avengers would be too great to resist.

I hope it goes through. The Fox franchises are generally less entertaining.
The X-Men movies were generally pretty good, along with the Wolverine/Sabretooth movie. And Deadpool was great.

Agreed the Disney movies have been more entertaining on average, though they've had some lame movies, including Iron Man 2 and 3, and Thor: The Dark World.

I'm really excited to see how bad Disney can f-up Deadpool! Probably like Starwars Jar-jar bad!!!
