Not a real one but we like it none the less.

The dog on the couch in the background is killin' me!! I could come up with 10 or 20 captions and don't even know y'all! :)
My grandparents used to have one named Tinker that looked just like that.

Should I start a new thread for nigthmare Christmas tree stories? The last two years have been interesting to say the least.

Wfe and kids wanted all white lights this year. So far I'm not sure I dig it. IMO greens and reds are mandatory.

Luckily my wife is OK with a smaller tree. Here it is this year after I wrapped up some presents yesterday:

Here's a close-up of the wrapping paper. Normally we go with a green/red/silver/etc that's a more traditionally Christmas. I found this paper at Walmart and bought two rolls without even asking, and didn't hear a single complaint. The 24 gifts pictured were all done with a single roll. Gonna have to open the second roll for the 3-4 gifts that are still in route.

My favorite thing about the tree? The ease of watering it. We have one of those long funnels that comes with a wooden "dipstick" so you can see if the tree needs water. I quit using the dipstick because I can see the tree stand and water level pretty easily. No crawling under the tree with a cup. Due to the location we've put it the last couple years, I can use the sprayer from the sink and add water with very little effort:
