2 weekends in a row of perfect weather for a smoke on the water!

It was actually 3 but I forgot to bring a cigar the 1st weekend. Unfortunately this coming weekend will be full of rain. Gives me a chance to throw a couple cigars in the box though!

We took the boat out for the first time this year last weekend, the weather was great and the flounder were biting. This weekend would have been perfect too but we had dad’s birthday yesterday and mother’s day today, just too much going on. Next weekend will be a good time to burn one while I tinker in the shed.

How was it? And is that one from the box you just recently ordered and posted the thread about or is this one from a different box?

It was good. Decent flavor, smooth draw and consistent burn. For what roughly is a $2 cigar it was phenomenal. It’s from the box I got. Box was dated 2017 product so they are a year old but I still want them to sit in the humidor a bit more just from what I’ve read about them being shipped. Was having a house warming party so I wanted to try one and so did my brother in law and father in law. They all really enjoyed the cigar.

QUESTION: My humidor got down to 59% for a while. After noticing the that the humidity was that low I took all the cigars out and wet down the inside of the humidor. The redwood soaked up the water then I order new humidor packs (4 of them) and put the cigars back into the humidor. For a week now the humidity is back to 76%.
Do you think that the moisture will get back into the cigars and if so how long should I wait to smoke one?

They will be fine, 59% isn’t really that low. I’d honestly be more worried about smoking them “wet” if they stayed at 76% too long. But give it a few days to mellow out and you should be good.

This was from the other day. Neighbor brought one over to give me as a welcome gift to the neighborhood. Wasn’t bad, seen a lot of bad y’all about the brand online.
