I know bupkus about knives.

But an old Army buddy is getting back into making them 'n that blued Damascus is absolutely killing me.




Told him I wanted something nimble & sharp enough to dress a deer, heavy enough to hack the odd sapling & handy enough to fight with, if needs must & with a Germanic/Norse kinda vibe. Sending him some beautiful Bolivian rosewood to do the scales with, too.

Liable to be more of a keepsake than a true working knife, but I can't wait to see what my demented little WV buddy comes up with.

The blade pictured is for himself. Dunno the dimensions, but he's thinking a 7" blade with full tang for mine.
