9mm AR bolt and buffer setups

I’ve been using the Taccom multi stage buffer with their spring.
I put 250 rounds through that, then added the Taccom “Short stroke kit”.
Man, what a difference. Faster and flatter operation.
Gonna next try removing BCG weight and see how that feels.
PCC newb but really enjoying it and might even try some uspsa matches with it. Fun!

With all the excitement last week I forgot to follow up. I had my new buffer by Wednesday, but as we all know the NC match was already cancelled.

Dave, we gotta get together and swap guns so we can test each other's setup!

ASAP.
I’m about ready to slit my wrists with all this rain. So the sooner the better! We can go to DPRC anytime!

Resurrecting an old thread here for an update:

Since I posted a year ago Ive gone through 2 BK buffers. First failure, the stem broke just behind the pad. The second came this weekend during a match. The pad started to break loose from the shaft, and I suspect it was causing the buffer to short stroke by binding up in the tube.

I sent the first one back and they sent a new one. Im going to run a standard buffer to get through the NC Section, decide on what to do with the BK

Check out the MBX buffer system. The MBX PCC is the softest, flattest blowback PCC I have yet tried.

Looks like a great system. How many rounds have you put through it?

Only a few as I do not own it. My buddy @Subsonic owns it. It's tits. It is the whole factory MBX carbine.

I have been using the Taccom 3 stage buffer system. Not bad, but the MBX was better. Should mention his has a pinned 14.5" with the MBX comp, which I think actually works very well, and likely contributes to the flat feel.
