Finally. Got. My FNS9C. In FDE :D

Now to decide if I like it better/worse than all my other plastic wonder 9s lol. At least I can share mags with my full size FNS.

Looks like someone needs to change their screen name.

Hahahaha.

My IG screen name is Muzzleblast MD For my Magnum love.

I still have more Glocks (9) and revolvers in Magnum (13?) Which are more than my CZ.

Maybe I can change to CZCompetitor_MD[emoji23]

1. Bag of brass shelf clips for my safe (thanks to @Jeppo)
2. Pocket Pro II shot time (thanks to @Mike Overlay et al for their input)
3. Small can of CLP (thanks to a range trip this morning where my 15-22 locked up and wouldn't cycle, and I discovered I only had two items in the back of my truck to choose from: WD-40 & 3-in-1 penetrant spray...WD-40 kept it running for today, but it'll get sprayed with CLP this afternoon and I don't plan to go without any available again if I can help it  )

$65 sight pusher tool from Amazon made by D D Machine. They sell it in red and black, the black has like 1,000 4.5 star reviews. I bought the red to save $15, same item. I installed and adjusted sights on my M&P, very nice tool! Seems very universal too.

Advice...

Next time you cut up a credit card, keep some bits to use as shims between the slide/sight and the tool. ;)

Yeah they advise such in their instructions along with using a business card on the clamping areas. I plan on getting some adhesive backed felt to line the clamping area, and I have plenty of old gift cards/credit cards around.

Great tip.

I used felt tape where it contacts my slide.

These work extremely well.

That right there is probably the nicest-looking plastic gun I've ever seen. I generally think plastic guns are ugly - which is fine, I still have'em, they're tools - but that's borderline purty.

Major milestone...finally made my first purchase from @rantingredneck!!

Two Glock trigger guards...not much, but gotta start somewhere!! :D

Big purchase - had someone build some heavy duty shelves to hold all my Ammo cans. Trying to get things neat and organized. Already feel my anxiety going down...

I’m guessing I could have done it - but all that weight - wanted someone that did it regularly... plus did it as part of building house so they were already here...

300 rounds of 147gr 9mm HSTs

Time to trust the 9mm SBR for HD. Figured that would be enough to pick three mags, run two full loads through each one, and leave enough to have three full 32rd mags handy. Haven't had any issue out of the mags with any other ammo.

Surely I can trust the AR after ~200rds of ammo through it since it's run flawless on a variety of 147 FMJs so far.

Picked up a nickel boron BCG from Palmetto state last week. Put it in my AR pistol. Haven’t had a chance to shoot it, but like the look and it’s a pretty smooth little piece.

I went crazy the last two months and replaced most of my red dots with Compact Prism scopes from Primary Arms.

The Primary Arms PAC 2.5X - .556
The Primary Arms 3X Compact Prism Scope Gen II - .556
The Primary Arms 3X Compact Prism Scope Gen II - 300 BLK
The Primary Arms 1X Compact Prism Scope - Cyclops

They really make a difference for my old eyes.

Man you're gonna love how easy they are to keep clean. Honestly, all you really need is a NiB bolt to make the action smooth as butter. We replaced a Premium PSA bolt with a WMD NiB bolt in the the last AR pistol build, and man.....what a huge difference in smoothness. You can't add enough oil to a phosphate bolt to make it as slick as NiB or nitride. I still prefer a Nitride carrier....self lubricity properties plus virtually no wear.

Bought a couple boxes of three different Eley 22LR ammo types. Brownells has a code for free shipping and $10 off $75 orders. I got it to $77, and shipping would've been $9.95. Basically knocked $20 off and it was $67 and change to my door. Gonna see if one of them does better in my CZ455 for the monthly contest. (They were out of the black box "match" ammo, so I'm trying three others)

Used another code to buy some SK match ammo, and a bottle of Hoppe's from Brownell's.

You guys and your high end ammo! I am going to take my 455 Varmint on its maiden voyage Thursday if everything works out. Probably just going to use my lowly CCI Standard. :(

CCI SV is what I've been force feeding my CZ. It's just not keeping up with the other shooters in the monthly challenge. Figured I'd try a couple boxes of something else.

I have some random boxes of higher end ammo, but figured I'd get a baseline with the CCI first and then try some others. New rifle, scope and trigger so I have zero idea what to expect. Plus I'm noit all that talented anyway. I can't keep up with most of you guys, just enjoying the attempt.

Got a Romeo 1 6moa red dot to go on my Sig 320 X5. This was my first order from Optics Planet, have heard mixed reviews on their shipping times, but these sights have been hard to come by so I took a chance. Actually got the shipping notice a couple days later and my scheduled delivery date...was the day the hurricane hit. Needless to say shipping was delayed almost two weeks but it showed up yesterday. Put it on last night, very impressed. This thing is incredibly bright, I actually couldn't look directly at it on its brightest setting last night in a well lit room. Took it out in the sun today to check it out and again, don't see how I will be needing the brightest settings ever.

Compared to my Fast Fire 3 sight it has a huge window and seems to be very fast to acquire, cant wait to put it through its paces this weekend.

Received my Kynshot RB5000 hydraulic buffer today. I've been running an Enidine in the M16 for years so I hope this works as well in a semi lower.
