Zeiss Conquest

I’m assuming this is talking about the older Conquests? And if so, I’ve got a 3-9x40 from that time. It is by far the clearest scope that I own and is excellent in low light.

If it is an older Zeiss conquest it is very good and I'd say well above Leopold in quality and clarity in the same price range. I took my Zeiss, and a buddy's Leopold vx? and a Schmidt & bender out in the box stand for deer hunts over a week to compare. The S&B was just a bit better than the Zeiss and the Leopold was blahh. The conquest and VX? were in the same general price range and we all know the cost of the S&Bs lol. The older ones have great light intake and awesome at dawn/dusk/full moons. I own 3 and keep a look out for others. I've also owned 2 newer Zeiss (Conquest & Terra lines) and they are not the same to me. First off the Terra is an abomination to put the name Zeiss on it, but my guess is they were chasing a lower price point. I sold it. The newer Conquest was alright, leopoldish in quality but glass didn't seem as good as the older conquests. I think it is still around here somewhere.

If you're talking about the one in the forsale section I don't think you could go wrong assuming it wasn't use as a baseball bat. I'm not sure on this particular model, it would have to be looked up but there is an outfit that will convert older Zeiss scopes to target turrets for around $150 I think. It's been a few years since I dug into that site.
