Best for letter and engraving fill

So what is your best go-to product for color, or white, filling letters and engraving on a firearm?
 
I like nail polish. Just apply it, let it dry, then wipe off the excess with polish remover. If you mess up it’s easy to fix.

No idea what was used but I thought the red on the grips looked pretty cool.

This is what @WdnuWndr told me and his Snek lower turned out great. I’ll be trying nail polish on my Christmas story lower.
 
I use testors model paint then wipe with acetone. I have also used color-fil laquer sticks from brownells. They just rub in and rub away excess but the piant works better. Fingernail polish is the same as model paint as mentioned earlier and polish remover is acetone so same things.

Same here. Start doing it for $15 - $25 a pop for buddies and it’ll pay for your whole kit and then some!!!

Is there anyone in Wilmington or surrounding area that would color fill a 1911 for me?
DIY isnt for me.... I am not crafty or patient.
Not looking for charity.
