2019 Carolina Classic USPSA

Ok so look i am not well versed in the pistol sports. What are some good NC / SC matches to get one ready for this Oct date?

Cool thanks
FYI they fill super fast in the warm months, like set a reminder and be ready when the minute rolls over to register. That or help with set-up if you can.
Oh and Chris Tilley is running an outdoor USPSA match in Sanford, but I'm not sure he's set any sort of schedule.

If you are available on a week night, Chris Tilley is also running some uspsa style falling steel matches in Sanford. Start at 530, run about two hours. Most fun I've had in a while. Think the matches are usually Thursday, next week's will be on Friday he said.

Thanks,

Been following that on FB. Each time i plan on it, but life gets in the way.

Stages have been approved and released. Go in to your PractiScore registration for the match to view.

What was your current optic?
Vortex Viper, been stubbornly not sending back for a year, instead of admitting it is no where near as bright as the same it replaced, it also has a glare issue, not sure if the old one's brightness cut thru or if it didn't have any glare.

Gonna try a Holosun on a Brownell's RMR slide, on a different G17 lower, hold the other til after the match as a back up. If I hate it I might quit being cheap and SRO.

Loaded 500 rounds yesterday for the match and cleaned the gun, it probably won’t work now! Headed out today to walk the stages. After practicing a little yesterday I’m just hoping I don’t come in last. Should be fun regardless.

Good match.
Not that I've shot a pile of lvl 2s but this was probably the funnest yet. Staff was great all day. No major backups. Weather couldn't have been better.
New dot worked great. Shooter not so much.
You guys hit the jackpot on the weather. I'm surprised the staff showed up after the broiling we got Friday.
This was a truly great match.

I was told not to shoot this match with a partial meniscus tear. After missing last year because of the hurricane that was out of the question. This was the most painful match I have ever shot, but also one of the funnest...despite conditions. So glad I shot. I survived it. I don't care where I rank...I made it till the end. Loved the stages. I shot one noshoot for the match that I made up...and had no other errors or Mikes. Pleased with the shooting part. I'll now get cut on and be back next year and get the moving part going. Party on dudes.

Pardon the hops and limps. It wasn't really running...it was hopping with power.
