Because I found a couple bricks and change

Hopefully it’s stable. The freedom munitions Hush .22 is garbage

I found this stuff at my local getting spot. It ran very inconsistently thru my mark 4.

Ran fine in my bolt gun. It was pretty quiet to the ear.

Used thru a Dead Air Mask 22.

I've got most of a brick I bought many years ago.
Only shot it in bolt guns.

It doesn't stabilize well out of a .22 with the standard twist rate of 1:16. There are 10/22 barrels out there with a twist rate of 1:9 that shoot the heavy ammo with the same accuracy as standard .22 ammo. I have a 1:11 twist barrel that shoots the 60gr just as accurately as 40gr. The Aguila 40gr subsonic and the 60gr shoot to the same POI in my gun. My guns slightly prefer the Aguila ammunition over CCI.

I use to run it in my .22 AR conversion and it ran great. Super quiet and with a 1:7 barrel it was pretty accurate.

Didn’t some of the suppressor manufacturers stop warrantying baffle strikes from these, they are unpredictable from standard barrels.

yeah it is the heat for standard .223 AR twist barrels to conversion to rimfire. Aguila makes good stuff, I am a fan of their SV offerings but the rim is on the thick side.

Because of 1) the twist rate issue 2) the fact that I like to shoot all types of ammo in all .22 guns and 3) CCI Quiet and SV have worked great for me in all guns, I’ve never tried it.

CCI SV is really quiet when suppressed and Quiet is just “stupid/movie”-quiet in a bolt gun.

My favorite is the Subsonic HP; 1050fps

As stated above Green Mountain makes a 10/22 bull barrel with 1:9 twist to fire these and that combo works great especially when you get the right spring weight it will cycle them too.

I did not notice any change in accuracy of standard ammo when I switched to a fast twist barrel. The 60gr has better penetration. I've had it go through 2x4 lumber.
