CFF Investment opportunity? Who wants to buy a turn key arms manufacturer?

I gave at the office. :)

That’s one way to sell it all for as little as possible. Looks like some good machine shop equipment, and a little inventory.

That’s really cool but I wonder what they have that is unique and attractive in today’s market.

It would be a fun “if I won the lottery” purchase.

The thing I don't get is that if it's an asset sale, does the FFL or whatever the ATF license is automatically transfer?

Nope.

It seems really inane to sell it as a turnkey operation. They will get much more by selling stuff individually. No one is going to drop a chunk of money to get the name, so they won't drop a chunk of money to buy the turnkey business.

Guess this is just another casualty in the post-Obama AR market.

I am surprised at the number of ar makers that are still left. 1911s too.

The only money is in the patients. The rest? Nope. The AR market is now a wholesale only market. Its not a retail market at all.

Did these guys hold a patent the piston assembly?

Do they hold any patents that are worth much? Were they collecting royalties on other companies' piston guns? Serious questions. If they do have patents that are worth a lot, maybe they are leveraging that perceived value as a way to sell all the stuff others wouldn't want.

Adams Arms

80's rock band, right?
