Molly our female dog started going crazy around 7pm. I go check the back yard and Buster would walk a bit and fall over. Happened 3 or 4 times so I went and picked him up and brought him in. After an hour he was up and walking around. Told my wife to plan on taking him to the vet first thing in the morning. Woke up at 5 to go to work and went to check on him and he was stiff. Wrapped him in a towel, put him in my truck. Gonna bury him after work.

So sorry for your loss. That sucks, man.

Sorry to hear that. Very sad.

Sorry for your loss. It's never easy saying goodbye to our precious friends.

Man, sorry to hear this.

Oh man sorry, I know that pain. Took me five years to get over. Now I have a rescue that is family again. I won't wait as long this time to get another because of my guilt. There are too many good pups out there that need a good home. I think my pups are cool with that idea.

Sorry to hear this man. Dogs are too bad ass to go so soon

Sorry for your loss,
Nothing hurts like lossing a member of the family, my beloved Cheech has been gone three years this November and I still think about him every day

Sorry for your loss.

I'm so very sorry @DCGallim . I know that feeling
They say that in a dogs mind, almost all masters are immortal.

Sorry for your loss. Bassetts are special. Mine's been gone for 15 years and I still miss him.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Sorry to hear you lost Buster Daniel. Losing a beloved pet is tough stuff.

I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your furry friend.

Awful...hug Molly when you get home. We lost Lucy and Daisy last year leaving only Bullitt. Heartbreaking news..Sorry. Billy & Ronnie Sue

Sorry Daniel

That's rough my friend...It's never easy to lose a companion. The hurt and grief are as real as with the passing of a close loved one. .I feel your pain

I buried him on my lunch break, it's weird because every death I've ever dealt with it doesn't hit that it happened until there's dirt on it. When they're above ground it's almost like they may pop back up but once dirt gets moved it's final. We bought him from a less than reputable breeder who told me he had shots and dewormed, so when he got parvo it was a big surprise. He was suppose to die but fought through it and came out tough as nails. I've seen him try to fight a Siberian Husky that was 4 times his size just for looking at his woman. But the kids could pull his ears and lay on him for hours and he would be happy as can be. He's made many pretty puppies, some have gone to members here. So he lives on.
