He added, “And I just want to say to you … there’s a Second Amendment, but there’s a rational way to deal with the Second Amendment.”

Biden said, “I just want to let you know that we can do it rationally.”

He never defined what doing it “rationally” means, nor did he discuss the fact that the Las Vegas shooter passed a background check for guns he used, while the Sandy Hook attacker stole his. Rather, Biden mentioned being “rational” and moved on.

Yup, then there's this:

The purpose of the Second Amendment is to allow the citizens of the nation a means in which to defend itself from a rouge oppressive government. The left knows this. This is why they so desperately want to remove that pesky little amendment that stands in their way of taking total control.

Joe is about as rational as polishing a turd into a bowling ball. He needs to worry about some rational young adult coming out about his molestation tendencies

Pure comedy gold! I really really hope this idiot gets the nod so we can watch him gaffe his way through another campaign.

Joe might have well have said: “And I just want to say to you … there’s a Second Amendment Constitution, but there’s a rational way to deal with the Second Amendment Constitution.”

You have to realize that language is being chosen purposefully to frame the discussion in specific terms.

"Common sense" implies anything contrary doesn't make sense.

"Rational" implies anything to the contrary is by default irrational.

This is not for us, nor is it for the rabidly anti-Rights crowd.

This is for the fence sitting folks without a dog in the fight..... it's about controlling the narrative with the population at large.

It is using language to coerce people into positions that they wouldn't necessarily choose if the true intentions were communicated without the filters.

JB is being fed words right now. Once he goes off script, the wheels (fortunately) always fall off.

"Deal" with it? What does that mean? There's nothing to "deal" with. No negotiations, no "deals".

That’s right...
I’ll take - NO Deal , Final Answer - for $1000 Alex.
Let’s make it a true Daily Double while we’re at it.

When they get House, Senate and Executive back....it's over. You will have to choose in the next 9 years.

Choice is already made . Let’s get it on, so my Son won’t have to.

It’s funny that we just have to make health care a right but we need a permit for our 2nd amendment right....
It was bait so the Dems grow their base.

Call it what it is: Political Slavery. The Dems are enslaving their base with social programs so that their base will vote for them.

Threaten to take away the program and their supporters come out of the woodwork like cockroaches. That's the reason for the multitude of programs and why you can't kill them off.

Gun owners are too busy making a living to protest and riot like the Dems and their base do.

Crazy Joe is entertaining if nothing else, but he nor his cronies have any clue of what they are in for if they stay on this path.

The "rational way" for the GOVERNMENT to "deal with" the Second Amendment is not to "deal with" it at all.

There is no "dealing" to be had with "... shall not be infringed".

None of those bastards have ever been rational about anything except staying entrenched in power.

200 years from now, the history books will document how Americans, once again, threw off the yoke of tyranny and chose to be a free / independent people.

I dont share your optimism. I doubt there are enough free men left to pull it off.

This is just as much an appeal to the fudds as it is to the know-nuthin-bout-guns fence sitters, maybe even more so.
When Bill told Hillary..don't go after the guns I'm tellin' ya don't go there..she told him to shut up, and went after the guns.
The gun vote denied Hillary and secured the Trump Presidency. You shoulda listened to Bill you dumb witch, he's been there/done that/got the t-shirt.

Biden knows this. Don't go after the guns. Even when he was "gun czar" under Obama, he soft-pedaled most of the rhetoric. He did his best to get the behind the scenes forces activated but never said it out loud. His most vocal stance was against 'assault rifles' which is en vogue, but never really said much about handguns, rifles or shotguns other than the occasional scripted high capacity magazine/gun show loophole blather.

Don't you see him going after the middle class? Hey..I'm one of you. Middle class Joe is what they call me. He needs these fudd release-the-hounds gun owners who smoke a pipe, drink fine brandy and pontificate "while it's obvious that my Benelli is a true sporting gun, the AR15 you-know..well.. it just serves no practical purpose. It is time to consider reasonable and rational restrictions on these things, and personally, I wouldn't care if they all went away. They give us responsible gun owners a bad name.."

Chip away from within. I really believe that more than the dishwashing Mom, the fudd is Biden's target.

Most likely....

That's one of the major problems we have in this country; folks will not stick together when it comes to liberty. They're ok with .gov infringing the rights of others, so long as .gov "doesn't mess with MY rights." Well...that's a huge crock of BS. Ain't any gray areas where liberty is concerned. You either wholly support it or you do not support it at all. You don't get to cherry pick rights, how they're exercised by the individual citizen or to what extent. As long as they're not impeding/causing harm to another when they exercise their respective rights, ain't none of anyone's f*cking business...whether it's .gov or another citizen.

You may not agree with how an individual chooses to exercise a right and that's fine...you have the right to disagree, but be damned if you have the right to choose for THEM / clamor for .gov to intervene just because you don't believe/feel the same. If that is your mindset, then I have nothing but contempt for you, because you advocate tyranny.

I get where this is coming from but do you listen to yourself?

Yes. I am well aware of what I stated and I stand by it, 100%.

"I have sworn upon the altar of God eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man."

My favorite Jefferson quote.

How many Fudd minds you think you'll change with a "come at me bro" attitude?
