Let's keep this thing rolling for week 3! We're going to do US National Whitewater Center. So far, weather looks to be 91F partly cloudy, I thought we could push the time up 30min to 9am to give us just a little relief from the heat.

One of the best parts about USWNC, aside from their 40+ miles of varying difficulty of trails, is the Pump House Biergarten!

When: Sunday Saturday 6/1/19; 9AM
Where: USNWC trails - https://usnwc.org/visit/facility-map/
Parking: There is a $6/day parking fee, or $50/yr. The plus side to this is that I'm pretty sure all parking fees go towards trail maintenance.
Lunch: Pump House Biergarten for beers and lunch after the ride (great burgers!)

Sorry I couldn't make it today, and I won't be able to next Sunday either due my playing drums at my church. I could definitely do a Sat morning though if people were up for that!

Saturdays would work for us also; maybe for The Fourthening we can move it up a day.

Jerzsubbie, you guys killed me yesterday and for that reason there is no way I'm going next Saturday, without at least 3L of drink in my backpack. :D Mrs. Vyntage and I will see you Saturday at 9:00.

Im in. 9:00 is good. I can do Saturday since its close to home . Im 15 minutes away from there.

Which ever, doesnt matter to me.

Saturday works for me too, so if that gets more people to join I’m open to changing.

Crap...I'll be in he Philippines for work. One of these days!

My brother and I will be there in the morning. Let's meet up in the section of the parking lot close to the bathrooms. When you are coming down the main road take a left into the lot and the bathroom buildings are back right corner. That's if there's not a thousand people.

That area usually fills up quickly, but since I'm just now getting to this thread, we can try for that. Worst case we'll find each other since I don't think we have any new comers compared to our first outing.

See you guys in the morning!

If we can't find each other in the lot let's just meet by the actual bathrooms that are right there.

I'm here, sitting at the end of the row near the bathrooms in my tan FJ. Should be easy to spot.

What an unbelievably epic way to spend a Saturday morning. Great people, great weather, great trails, great burgers, and a great nap. :D The first two CFF rides were awesome but this one blew them both away.

The big question now... what are we doing next week? Fisher or USNWC North section?

I'm down for north side of USNWC. Mike let's def plan a trip to beech. I'll talk w my wife about a good weekend to go.

I could do it Sunday cause Shane wouldn't have to work that night and I'm not playing drums.

I can do sundays alot easier. Next Sunday? Same time and meet spot?

Sunday is good for me. Yeah let’s do same place and time.

Well I'm about 104% sure that usnwc trails will be closed tomorrow, so this thing is officially postponed to next weekend.

Stay dry and find something fun to do this weekend.. I'll be building some cabinets while staring at my bike in the corner under a drop cloth.

Remodeling your kitchen?

Long-range forecast for next weekend looks pretty good.

Carbon bars went on pretty easy. Turns out both the new bars and the old bars were 780mm, so I'm going to cut the new bars down. What's a good starting point width-wise for trail riding? 740mm?

edited for clarity, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and posterity

Laundry room, much smaller project! Building a base cabinet to go next to the washer/dryer, installing a countertop, building a wall cabinet then a couple shelves to go above the counter, and lastly a large utility type cabinet for storage of extra toilet paper/paper towels/cleaning products/etc plus a unit that will hold 6 laundry baskets stacked floor to ceiling.

Already did the flooring a few weeks ago. Before & after.

Oh yeah, painted and added an outlet below counter height for the washer.

Same here, mine are 760mm. 740-800 is the most popular right now, depends on preference and rising style.
