The Jeopardy guy...

I bet the contestants are interviewed to gather their knowledge strengths and once categorized they are pitted against the former winners weaknesses which were few in Holzhauer's case.

The guy was so good and played the system so well that it became boring and repetitious and most everyone I knew quit watching until he lost. One of the comments I heard was when he made the statement that Alex had "a potty mouth" when off camera. May be so but I don't think the network is going to put up with anyone bad mouthing him.
I don't see how they kept the string of opponents coming knowing who they would be going up against, I wouldn't have wanted to face him....

Guys guys guys, BB done spoke, he knows that ratings were tanking and no one was coming to the show to play against him, why question this?

Internet rumor s are rampant that he got a family member to ghost bet for him on a large wager at 40to1 odds. Then dumped the game
True or not this could get interesting,

The have wagering on events that happened in the past?

When thinking about Jeopardy, keep in mind the timeline....

He lost and was off the show March 12. The air-date of his very first show was April 4.

He was off the show three weeks before any of us have ever heard of him, and every person who has attended a taping since March 12 knows that he was gone from the show.

I wonder what the Jeopardy Non-Disclosure-Agreements look like. If James had spilled the beans, would he lose his two-million?
Checked and Vegas did have a betting line on him. This isn't the forty to one mentioned on the rumor, but some people will bet on anything. And since the results were supposed to be super secret I can see how there would be a betting line on him

@Bailey Boat , when Jeopardy! taped at RBC Center (PNC, whatever) for the college tournament a few years ago, a couple friends went to the taping. They said during breaks Trebek would tell off-color/blue jokes, and he did have a potty mouth.

@Me. , a pastor of a church I used to attend went on Wheel of Fortune. He won, everything, after he won the bonus round he came out with $60-something thousand. He said by NDA all he could say until his show aired was that he competed; could not say how he did.

Obviously ratings were way up. When was the last time anyone could discuss Jeopardy with random people? I have always watched Jeopardy, but this was the first time I could talk about it at work without sounding like a nerd.

DUDE. STOP.
No way the ratings were way up, they were TANKING. Dont you read this thread???????

Im kidding, of course.
