What Lube

After cleaning your press what lube are you using?

You're asking for trouble with this thread title....

I’ve read using synthetics (CLP) are bad Juju because they wick so well it can get on primers & powder.
I use DuPont's chain saver on a lot of stuff. You can pick it up at wally world, works great on dirt bikes as well.

Left over synthetic motor oil that I drain from the bottom of the containers.

I use Mobil 1 for almost everything except I use tetra gun grease under the shell plate. Hornady progressive.

Do you get powder granules sticking?

I’m surprised that took an hour.

I would if powder ever spilled I'm sure, but I've shimmed my press and tapered the detent ball retention areas, so it never really spills powder anymore. Only time I get powder on the shell plate is if I miss a primer for some reason, it will come out primer hole.

Same thing here, doesnt take much either.

30W synthetic and grease per mfg instructions.

Like your sphincter

On the rams, I like to use high temp wheel bearing grease. But generally I use what the instruction say use.

What are the proportions?

Whatever grease Dillon has in their maintenance kit...which oddly enough is Red not Blue ;-)
