Today's class was one I've been needing, and one of the best I've taken. We shot dots. Lots and LOTS of dots! Big dots, little dots ... ok ...mostly little dots, and then a little bit of steel, just for variety.
We focused on examining all the little details that can affect our accuracy, from stance to follow through. What made today different was actually testing things like increasing or decreasing our grip strength or finger position slightly to see how that changes our groups. Sometimes you learn that you're gripping too tightly (I am) or that you need more or less finger on the trigger. It was all about understanding what makes YOU hit better. Ryan gave us a good workout with a great mix of drills and exercises, critiquing every move.
After 500 rounds down range, I could see an improvement in everyone's groups (except Ryan's);).
Most of the group were repeat students, with one new guy. I've trained with several of them over the last 6 months, and it's really great to see some go from beginners to some very sharp shooters.
Thanks again to Ryan, Bush, and my classmates. Great day, Guys!

Thank you so much for your kind words, nice review, and of course your support. You did amazing, dialing those shots in and really bringing everything together to get those consistent tight groupings in the X ring that everyone wants. It paid off ringing those 2/3 size men and the 6" gongs at 100 yards too at the end :) Excellent shooting.

Not the post I was expecting, didn't you want to say something about the P365? :)

Well.... I was going to say it started to impress me when Derek made that headshot, proving one person on the planet could shoot it accurately, then it failed him in the scenarios so I retract that statement! LOL!
