What did you do in the reloading room today?

Loaded 34 rounds of 460 S&W. Hornady 200 ftx bullets, 49.0gn of H110 powder, Starline brass. Those are the last of the 200 ftx bullets I have.

I will try the 300gn Speer Deep Curl bullets next - start low and work up!
We need to go unload them!

Trying some 150gr 30-30 in 300blk. They do manually feed just fine so will probably work ok.

In the pic 150gr, 180gr, 245gr

I had a problem with the one on the right feeding in the 300. I had to seat it as long as possible or the front of the bullet would catch the bottom of the feed ramp.

Working up a new load for my 9mm steel challenge guns. Wanting to find a super soft shooting load. Bought some N320 to try out this time. Have some 115gr blue bullets on the way as well.

Been lazy in the reloading room. So contacted Outdoor Dynamics (Butter). Picked up 1000 147gn at a good price. If anybody doesn’t have the time or out of reloading supplies give Butter a shout.

Tumbled some 30-06 brass, then lubed, resized, and trimmed. First time doing production work with my new Lyman brass smith trimmer. Once I got my technique down, it went really fast, glad I bought it. I would say that I am kicking myself for not buying it sooner, but I can’t, because I couldn’t, since it just came out.

Tumbled, sized, trimmed a couple hundred 30 carbine cases. Sadly, the Lyman trimmer won’t work on straight-walled cases. Used the Lee trimmer setup in my case prep center.

I also installed a Marbles sight on my old Win ‘94. Can’t wait to get it out to the range to get zeroed.

I've seen others who have made their own custom reloading labels, so I thought I'd try my hand at it. I used Publisher and a business card template that measures 3.5 x 2 inches.
Front side, then back- these are intended to be inside the box o' ammo.

Worked on a couple 1 gallon baggie of brass that I picked at the range yesterday. There was a bunch of 280 Rem brass. I do not ever think that I have seen that caliber out there before.
Also, wanted to get 40 to 60 rounds of 6.5 CM loaded to site in a scope. Most of the brass was from the range pickup that I FL sized and trimmed. After 40 rounds were loaded some rounds would not fit into a case gauge so I pulled about 8 rounds apart. Then resized them in a SB side along with the rest of the 6.5 brass that I picked up.
Word to the wise, any bottle brass that is a range pickup that can be fired in a semi-auto or bolt gun should be first time sized in a SB die IMHO.

I picked up my first piece of reloading equipment today!!! A NEW RCBS Vibratory Case Cleaner for $25!! It had been sitting at the place I volunteer at for a month with no bites.

Now I just gotta finish nursing school so I can accumulate the rest!

Yesterday I moved everything from the walls to the center of the room. Drilling the slab for termite treatment in a week. Going to reorganize some stuff as long as I’m moving it around, really need a better way to store lead.

Yesterday I made the first foray into wet tumbling using SS chips, not pins.
Usually I separate dry media with a colander & bucket-I may continue that method since I also spent about 1.5hrs tearing apart some old hard drives I had laying around for the magnets.
Once I separate the magnets from their brackets I'll glue several on the outside bottom of the collection bucket to keep the chips from going down the drain.

Turned on the AC to 74 degrees, point the fan towards the recliner, turned on the TV, laid the recliner back and fell asleep.
yeah man. Been doing alot of that. Need to get off my butt and load up some mild .357s for my new 586 but I find it's just easy to shoot previously hoarded factory ammo and make more brass for later ;)

In load room for 2.5 hours and trimmed 2 pieces of .308 brass and yes when you kick back and fall asleep, excuse me rest the eye lids you tend not to do much else. My neck hurt when I rose from my nap. Tomorrow I will try to get the other 18 done! Well Maybe

Stayed up late loading some 30-06 ammo to feed the M1 and the 1903 Springfield for Camp Perry. 150 rounds prepped and loaded for the matches, and a little practice this weekend.

Love those Speer 125gr pills!

After the trip to the range last night, I did the normal routine afterwards, sorted and decapped brass and cleaned guns. Then I looked at the 30-30 brass that I had prepped and primed earlier in the week, so I got out the powder and bullets and finished loading them. Fifty rounds, Sierra 150 FN with 33.7gn Varget. I have a friend that shoots a lot of 30-30 factory ammo, and he had given me a bunch of brass so I decapped those as well.

Built(ding) me a table. Straight on a whim, no plans to go off of.

Gotta get some 2x6 (8) or 2x12 (4) for the top.

It’s square and to height and width of me and the space it’s going on.

Been having a little problem with some 223 (7.5" AR15) not going into battery. Took about 100 pieces of 223 brass and trimmed and deburred them hoping that would take care of the problem.

Loaded up 200 rounds of 9mm 125gr LRN Coated with Win 231 and 100 rounds of 45acp 185gr XTP with Bullseye 5.4gr

Woot done and this thing seems sturdy

Loaded up another 50 rounds of 142 grain Sierra's for the 6.5's. Also ordered some case mouth and neck tension gauges.

Nothing much, just worked up a few loads to test in 45acp, for my (new to me) FNX45. It has a slightly stronger recoil spring than my other 45 pistols.
