Tree identification

I haven’t seen any fruits or nuts.
And I don’t recall any significant flowering.

I also call that a "cherry" but its actually a hackberry. 98% sure, since the Hackberry bark is pretty unique.
Yes, I am a tree nerd.

ETA, the leaves and bark sure look like persimmon. I'm going to change my vote.
I jumped the gun on the hackberry.

Hmmm.... You may be on to something.

I just cleaned up some 6" dead branches that were hanging on. Looks pretty dense, hard with a dark heart wood.
I'll cut some down to size and try turning some bowls with it.

I know what persimmons look like and never seen any on or around this tree.
It's got to be close to 35 ft. tall.
I’ve got some at the house that don’t produce and some do. And close to 50 ft tall. There’s a big version and a little version. Usually the little versions make more fruit than the big ones. Based on the leaves and the bark, Ima stick with persimmon.

The second tree leaves look like a tulip poplar.

That looks like a shag bark hickory to me.
Any hulls/husks around it?
That was my first thought from the bark, but it's not gray enough and the leaves/flowers are wrong...

I have no other guesses.
