I'm in the process of building a 6.5 Grendel upper so I can use it for occasional hunting and just playing around on the range with. I want a nice barrel for this build and have been eying Ballistic Advantage barrels. This is the particular on that I have my eye on and I found it on another site for about this same price. What do y’all think, is it a good barrel, good price?

Didn’t we have someone here that did a group buy from this company?

Yup, thinking about doing it again. There been some management changes, spoke with sales manager he is suppose to get back with me

My 6.5 grendel has a 20 inch ss dmr barrel from ballistic advantage. Shoots 1 inch or less with factory ammo. Highly recommend them.

Now for the next question.....

Faxon or BA? or are they about the same?

TBox barrels is the only option for quality in 6.5 anything

Never heard of them. Right in F-V.
Are they affiliated with Templar? Looks like they sell that Templar MIC-E brake.

I picked up a Brownells/Satern 24” premium barrel & bolt combo and so far I’m extremely pleased with it.

I’ve got 60 rounds through the gun and the best group I’ve managed to get with 123gr ELD match is right under 3/4” at 100 yards, I’m sure 1/2” groups will be doable once I start hand loading for it.
