Post Your Furry Friends...

My Oklahoma sooner dog. We saved him from the Wake County pound about 7 years ago now on the day he set to be euthanized as his time had ran out. He is wonderful with the kids and loves life. He is showing his age recently and slowing down a lot.

Nothing exists on our little square of dirt without her permission

Not squirrels

She alerted me to this guy when I drug the tarp off the lawnmower. Somehow, doggy instinct told her not to get too close, but she kept him at bay while I grabbed the shovel

And just a little while ago, I heard the God awfullest racket up in the woods. Slid on my shoes, grabbed the flashlight and the .22. It seems she finally caught up with our mischievous little trash panda

And to top it off, she will lay on the porch and watch the deer walk through the yard and never twitch or open her mouth.
Good, girl.

I've always loved those dogs but I know my family doesn't have the time or energy to do right by them.

It's a struggle, for sure. But it's so rewarding when they do bond with ya. So loyal, loving, and all she wants to do is make us happy.
