The fallacy of gun control. Here is a Khyber Pass/Pakistani Beretta 92 copy with working suppressor. We put two mags out of in yesterday, mostly suppressed. Rest of the guns are all Khyber Pass guns too. Khyber Pass guns are made with hand tools, hand spun lathes on the dirt floor of a adobe hut by a skilled craftsman.

Damn!!!!

Went to the PO and lo and behold. A grin came across my face. Couldn't wait to get home and put it together. The gun is a Factory Unaltered AA easy open frame with a factory unaltered AA 357 Max 10 " barrel. It wears a Wanre 4 hole, weaver style base, with Burris Signature rings and a Brand New Bushnell Elite 2-6X 32mm matte black Handgun Scope. The furniture is from High Plains and features a Pegasus Grip (been wanting to try one of these for years) and 2" wide flat bottom target forearm in Saphire Laminate. I think the purple pops with the AA frame. Have 200 rounds of Remington 357 Max brass and will start load development shortly. Have some AA1680 I am going to play with.
Thanks for reading and feel free to offer any "Pert Load" you might have. I have some 125,140,158, and 180 grain JHP to experiment with.
Thanks for reading and any and all input is welcome
Doug

We did a good bit of 357 Max load development here. We used from 110 grain to 200 grain Cast Performance Gas Checks in our developing for a NEF. Over 3,000 for the 110s and over 2,000 for the 200s. I'll try to get some more info if you are interested.

Finally shot this pistol (the 6906). Loved it! She's not the prettiest girl at the dance, but she was a lot of fun. First shot was DA and was a flyer over the left shoulder. After that, I decided half of the rounds to get used to the DA. The SA was remarkable! Here are 36 shots at 8 yards. I'm no marksman, but I was pleased with the result.

Just picked up a police trade-in from AIM Surplus.
Behold a Gen 3 Smith & Wesson 6906 9mm.

After an extensive cleaning - it was filthy - you can see plenty of wear. Looks like it was used as a club and possibly a hammer. However, the barrel looked factory pristine and the magazine was in excellent condition. Even the follower looked new! Cosmetic issues aside, it is like a tank and should have lots of life left.

This'n was made in 1989... cast frames were first introduced in 1993.

Didn't see the 1989 date code was just looking at the pic. I also should have seen that it was a MKII so it had to be forged. I guess I had not had enough coffee yet. LOL

Picked up two new pistols last week. First off is a rare 5906 TSW.It's marked 9 Tactical and has a spring loaded decocker and rail. This pistol was a LEO only gun originally not sold to the public. It's NIB unfired and unissued View attachment 137048
Next is a 98 to 99% 39-2 made around 1970 or 1971. It's early because it has a hole in the hammer. Excellent conditionView attachment 137049

By the way, I gots some Bondo that’ll fix that hammer good as new. ;)

Beautiful gun and a nice find. It’s about time.

By the way, you don’t actually join the club until you own at least two. That’s why they call it 39-2. :p
