I cant watch it anymore. It just pisses me off. They have a K9 tracking a hunter from his truck because he possibly may have bait in the back of his truck [emoji849]

Then theres the radar speed trap on an ATV trail in NH. Live Free or Die my ass.

Between that, the stupid wildlife laws in a state as sparsely populated as Maine, the NH ATV registration extortion scheme....it just raises my blood pressure to unhealthy levels.

I know two of the wardens on the Maine show. Went to HS with them.
Both were Voted most likely to be an idiot.

I have a Maine Inland hunting and fishing regulation book around here somewhere.
It has more pages and bigger words than most NC textbooks.

It is near impossible for a mere citizen to understand and obey all the regulations.
I feel bad for the poor sap who is tasked with enforcing them.

So I guess they are supposed to just ignore the bait, and let the ATV drive everywhere and anywhere wide open. I love the idea of live free or die as much as anyone, but some regulation is needed. Maybe we should be allowed to drive our cars at 100 mph plus on any road anywhere, or allow people to steal whatever they need. After all, I need stuff, and I should be able to take what I want. There are reasons baiting is allowed in some places and not in others. To think otherwise is over simplification of the subject. Well, there is my 2 cents worth. GITRDUUUUNNNNN!!

"Some regulation" does not mean what you think it means. The post before yours, where it mentions a inch thick reg book, tells the entire tale.

The bait wasnt PLACED into the woods, it was a few kernals in the back of a truck. Does that warrant a K-9 to search the privately owned land and possibly ruin a hunt for a private landowner? BS it's a fishing expedition funded by license dues. I could never see WRC doing that here even if we had stupid no-baiting rules.

That show really shows what government provides the average sportsman in that state: NOTHING

New Hampshire just decriminalized marijuana. Oh LORD they'll be potheads speeding and poaching and screwing all over unless its regulated as much as the wildlife is...

'Here's your $200 fishing with a bad haircut ticket and a $20 summons for the 20grams of skunkweed we confiscated for our party this weekend'

GAH!

It's okay, they get to wear those Dudley Do-Right dress uniforms when they're not out pretending to be military rabbit-sheriffs. The Red Coats are fitting from what I have heard lol!

It's a Reality Show so you know its got to be a staged event. Just like fishing shows. They don't tell you they fish and film all week long to get a 30 min show.

reality sure, staged sure but the premise of some of the 'investigations' is probably rooted in reality. A Canine Unit hunting me down in my deer woods for some bullspit would have me darn near fighting mad if not shooting mad.
