Are y'all doing the family pic-nic thing, or hiding out in the house with the blinds closed?

I promised a cousin I'd go to the family thing this year, so I have to go! Once I get there it'll be a lot of fun. I've invited a couple of friends that might be at loose ends to join us.
 
Family time at the lake house - grilling out, boat rides, and my dad always does a ton of fireworks
 
Golfing, then avoiding everyone with lame excuses so I can come home for hamburgers and hotdogs with my wife :)

If you have loose friends I may go with you to your cousin's.
 
12 days starting tomorrow of catching up on the honeydew list, my wife has pointed out twice that the basement needs painting. So it's a workcation for me
 
Watching the Cartage parade then once the sun goes down watching my hood fireworks, better then the county show.
 
Working if you don't stop buying hamburger and hotdog buns. Well, I'm working regardless. Probably won't be able to see or think straight by then. Last Sun/Mon was a mess. Sounds like tomorrow will be bad. Figure next Sun will be a disaster. I basically write off the 2 weeks leading up to Memorial Day, the 4th, Labor day, and Thanksgiving.

Just found out that our Daughter is visiting for the 4th and staying the weekend! Woo Hoo!
Wifey will cook, I will grill sumpin', life is good!
Mebbe I can get daughter to come with us to Big Ed's on the 5th, especially if @Jeppo will let us shoot at his place before.

Edit: Dangit! She's only comin' fer the day on the 4th... leavin' that evenin'.

Either sitting on the cabin deck solo or smoking meat for a neighbors party. Undecided at this point. Wife and kids are gone for about 10 days so I am free. Kind of. One of my mutts isn’t doing well so I may need to stick close to home and the vet.
