It's a basic Bushnell and no, not a chance I stay with it. I am waiting until the thing is Form 1'd and I have a stock on it to see how it shoulders and where the cheek weld is to determine which dot I buy. I think it'll be either a T1 or maybe an RMR. I'd really like to keep the weight down. Also, that Troy rail is getting swapped for an MI MLOK and it's getting some kind of light on it.

SIG Rattler kit on a SIG M400 SBR lower . SIG 762 Titanium silencer. And the ElCan for good measure.

You win ;) nicest lower I have seen!
Thanks, I've been in the game for some time now but waiting on this one is already proving the most difficult. The up side is that it's in my FFL/SOT dealer possession and we get together several times a year and shoot!

About a month ago I shot one of my 5.56 uppers and it ran great and yesterday we quickly test fired 10 rds with my 22 conversion kit and it ran perfectly also. No shimming or fussing around with either upper, it fits perfectly in these Aero lowers - to say I'm real happy is an understatement.

This one takes a little splainin. I was living in Washington state working for a large Chemical plant.. In January my wife and I decided my old boss had lost his freakin' mind and I wasnt going to work for that douche any more. So I started looking for a job doing what I wanted to do in a place I wanted to live. After several interviews across the country I decided to take a very good job as Engineering Manager with a VERY large winery in California. So i accepted their offer. I had 4 form 1 SBR's that Ive had for a while and I sold off the uppers and etc parts to a friend of mine since I was going to California. Two weeks before I was going to leave I got a call from an outfit in Charlotte. I told my wife theres no point in going since I was taking the job in California. She told me to keep an open mind, go to the interview in Charlotte and TAKE THE JOB IN CHARLOTTE !!!!.

So here I am working in Charlotte. I am in the process of rebuilding the SBR's how I want them on the 4 stamped lowers. First off was a 300 BO SIG Rattler kit on a SIG M400 lower with a SIG 762Ti silencer . Next is this one. Dedicated 22 LR 4 inch barrel with a spectre 2 silencer. Note that I dont have a buttstock for it as of the moment. A "pistol" brace is subbing in for now. 2 more lowers to go. Probably do a 9mm and something else. Maybe 45 ACP.

Friend wouldn’t sell the uppers back to you?

Was swapping to pistol configurations not an option?

Or I guess if you sold them for a decent price, you can now rebuild them using all your lessons learned on the first ones. :D

Nah, I probably could have gotten the uppers back but decided to start fresh. I kept the 22 upper but the rest is all new. Had 3qty 300 BO uppers and quite frankly didnt need that many. ts a whole different story as to why I had 4 SBR lowers in the first place. I was living in Oregon and Washington did not allow Form 1 SBR's at all so I loaded up on a few to bring into the state , which was legal, and 3 months later they allowed form 1 SBR's.

It would have been impossible to bring them into CA as pistols. That and it wouldnt have been possible to bring the SBR lowers into CA even stripped.

Man that’s great to hear! Hope to get a test drive on that in the future! I know your stoked that waiting really is a PITA though.

Welcome to SC!

Designed by John M. Browning during WWI, entered US service as the M1921 .50 cal water cooled machine gun, then in 1933 used a heavy barrel. Some of those M2 HBs are still in service (being replaced by the M2A1 variant). This evenings can of whoop ass. I present the twins!

I got a chassis for my 5.56 MVP. This thing is cool! MDT chassis with XLR stock.

I want another MVP; I can’t decide if I should get it in 5.56 like my last one or look for the MVP-LR in 224 Valkyrie. I still have an 18” .308 MVP but it’s not as fun

Picked up a new [brown] host today thanks to a stroke of luck/pricing error at Gander Mountain.

The short list for it includes an FDE TLR HL and a holster setup. Can't wait to send some 230gr pills down range. Now I'm on the fence about keeping/selling my threaded SP01 Tactical.
