Morons still complaining about US women trouncing Thailand

It was a travel team which means the best in the area. That’s usually many high school excellent players. Basically freshman at that.

I never said a single word about any "Boys 15" team. Hadn't read a word of that until MikeOverlay posted it. and I didn't quote it or mention it. Anybody can spend ten seconds looking at my posts (the ones YOU QUOTED) and see that this is true.

Please read that twice so you can understand it.

Also, an under 15 boys team is not the same thing as an over 15 boys team (HS Varsity), which I would have hoped you'd understand with your vast soccer experience.
 
Here in the Triangle, we have a soccer fanbase that is probably above average for the country. NCFC is the men's team. They are in 3rd place in the USL. The women's team from the same organization is NC Courage. Champions last year and 4 of their players were on the US national team (3 others played for other national teams).

Watch the highlights of the men's team and look at the crowds. Well under 5000 people most games. I'm not even sure you can watch highlights of the women's team, but their attendance is about 4900 per game, but far fewer games. Capacity for that stadium is about 10k.

That organization wants to build a new 20k seat stadium in Raleigh. I assume they hope to upgrade to MLS, but I know they have been counting on attendance growth through the latin community and it just hasn't happened.

Those are dead on. They are the Terrell Owens of the soccer world...successful, but jerks about it. But if you call them out as jerks you are criticized for it.
 
So glad my daughters don’t play soccer and are exposed to the ignorant asshats on the US Women’s team. They get enough bad information from school. Don’t need it in their hobbies.

U.S.—Star player Megan Rapinoe has filed a lawsuit on behalf of the United States women's national soccer team to overturn the "unjust, unfair, unconstitutional law of supply and demand," sources confirmed Wednesday.
Rapinoe challenged the law for oppressing women when it was revealed that men's soccer brings in exponentially more money than women's soccer, and as such women are paid less. The lawsuit, filed earlier this week, petitions the US government to recognize that the basic economic laws that determine wages violate federal discrimination regulations on gender.

"The oppressive, misogynistic law of supply and demand has conspired against women for years," she said. "More people want to watch men's soccer, so the men make a lot more money than we do. This is a clear example of systemic inequality that has been enshrined in economic laws for centuries."

"Also, I'm a woman, I'm gay, I have pink hair, and I have tattoos, and [expletive] President Trump!" she added. "Wooooooo!!!" She said she will continue to tout these facts as important elements of the lawsuit that challenges the law of supply and demand. "There's no way a judge will rule against me because I'm so brave.'

The lawsuit includes specific exemptions for areas where women make more money than men due to supply and demand, legal counsel for Rapinoe confirmed at publishing time.
