Oh....where to start. He just couldn't comply could he. Might have gotten off with a warning if he did. But nope. And as for the taser, after he pulled the leads and came at me, I'd shot his ass.
He was twice the limit for DWI so he was screwed either way. Maybe no AS screwed but...

This is full on assault (on top of that on a LEO) and all the drunk charges ... what’s the over/under on how many games this guy will miss? If the “kneelers” had their way I bet they’d give him a medal

Damn ... he’s not even an “EX” ... he’s a “never”. He sign a contract with Seattle in 2017 but was hurt in an ATV accident and when he managed to make it back to Seattle he was placed on injury status. In 2018 Seattle waived him and no team touched him so he went on injured reserve until they released him a couple days after the above incident. That guy had a multi-year deal with like $4 million plus guaranteed and a $3 million plus signing bonus ... and never played an official down in a game! What an idiot ... repeatedly!
Happened back in Feb, which, along with the snow seen, explains his heavy clothing.

Stupid cop is lucky he didn't get his spine broken and face crushed. You can hear the abject fear in his voice when he goes soprano with his little “commands”. Oh, poor little snowflake even needs to have an extra “charge” about it being assault on an el ee oh. Poor baby. I watch the video and see a cop that's small in stature that had balls big enough to sling over his shoulder. He didn't hesitate to put hands on a man 3 times his size when verbal commands didn't work. I'd take him in my corner any day.
I think I would have fear in my voice facing someone 3 times my size and knowing I possibly may need to use lethal force on him knowing what kind of media/lib crap storm this would bring upon me and my family. Not to mention even if I am in the right it is prob the end of my chosen career. All because some drunk ass idiot won’t follow directions. Sorry but I don’t shame him for that.

I also have a fundamental disagreement about agents of the state thinking they have the power to issue commands to anyone. I reject the idea of state supremecy over the individual. Thankfully, I believe a fight is coming once again to this country and I hope to see the state dismantled, and if I'm lucky get a piece of helping that process.

It amazes me after incidences such as this the LE agencies can still get officers to fill the ranks. The officer is very lucky that he is alive, most don't live to see another day when they face such an altercation.

He wasn’t achieving compliance, and went into contempt of cop mode.
He could have waited for backup.
He could ha redeployed the taser.
He could have used OC or his baton.
Especially after the first tasering, when the guy sat down. Sure it’s less than ideal, but he didn’t need to force the situation.

They say cops are always looking to pop africans, if ever there was a cop that had a green light it was this one.
And he didn’t do it.
Maybe if your crowd is responsible for a majority of the violent crimes committed .... this might be why some of them catch lead.

I was talking to an old timer with 40+ years as an Leo he said the one tool he missed was his blackjack/slap jack smacked thingy. He said it didn't matter how big they were they just fell.
OC spray has its place but if you've ever sprayed anyone with it and then had to escalate force to a hands on situation you know it's not always the best tool for the ...... it affects you about as much as it does them if you have to roll around on the ground with someone soaked in it.
