I was informed by the misses, when I got home from work, that we were going to the range. She obviously needed some stress relief. She also told me to take a big revolver. So, I gathered up a few guns, some ammo, and off we went. She shot the Ruger SR22 and her CZ97. Then I pulled out the 10" Ruger Blackhawk 44. She shot a few rounds from that, and suddenly all was good in the world.
I took my new-to-me FNX 45 and shot a couple of mags. The reduced loads I brought (200gn plated, 4.6gn Titegroup) were not enough to fully cycle the gun. Will have to come back with some stout loads for it. Accuracy was great, though.
