took my new Hawkeye long range out today. Shot a box of American gunner through it, then decided to see how my handloads I run in my bergara shoot. Berger 140’s that are seated longggg. Won’t even fit in a standard ai. Mag. I did not use the chronograph because I did not expect it to group good at all. But man did this thing shoot. Here’s a 5 shot group at 100, I could tighten it up, I didn’t go slow. Just a quick group, had all 5 down in under a minute.

1 load in 2 rifles that shoot this good? HELL YES


Edit, that is a 223 hole bottom left.

all the time...

with a handgun...

at 100”. :D
 
.......maybe a sign of time changing. Ten years ago, I would have never expected that from a Ruger. Some of their prices have went up.....and it shows in the end product. Seems like they are making a much better product now. Congrats!!

I’ve had quiet a few rugers recently. From the American predator in 223, 308 to the precision in 6mm. And now this and every one of them has shot groups like with with handloads. For a rifle under $1000, you can’t beat it. Same with my bergara, even though it’s wearing a custom barrel, it was under $1000 and will shoot like nobodies business
 
My .308 loads are always longer then factory. I am normally just a few thousandths from lands and grooves. Do not like a lot of jump
