Looking to build another grendel, looking at the toolcraft for $80 and Bear Creek for $60.

Would I notice a difference between the two? Ive used TC a lot, never had issues. The BCA got good reviews as well.

I would definitely get the toolcraft over the BCA any day. Another option for a few more dollars would be to look at PeaceGeek.net. They usually have NiB BCGs for sale.

I agree with all of the above, Toolcraft over BCA all day long just for the peace of mind.

Another Toolcraft over Bear Creek (I can't get past their Moore’s Machine linage) for that little of difference especially.

I like to keep a backup bolt in my grip just in case but buying just the bolt is pretty damn expensive (half or more of the cost of a complete BCG) ... considering you get cam, retaining pin, firing pin, carrier, gas key and screws when you buy a complete BCG ... WTH?

PSA is my cheap option as I’ve had great luck with them. Toolcraft for $20 more is a pretty easy one.

Toolcraft. You can get them with the 9310 bolt (actually stronger than C158 when heat treated properly) for ~ $69 if you look around. I just ordered another one from spicetac earlier today for that but they’re sold out now.
