If he lives long enough you should come see Popa Chubby next time he is at the Blue Note in Durham. This year his version of Sympathy for the Devil was worth the drive and bar tab all by itself.
Sadly, I almost never hear about shows, especially less mainstream bands. Sometimes someone will pop up on FB at a show & I'm like, WTF? I didn't know they were coming.

As far as I can tell he comes to NC about once a year so he can eat copious amounts of b’cue prior to his show at the Bluenote. Usually in the late winter or spring.
These kids rock.
I wore this album out and it was the best concert my wife or I had ever seen. Clapton on guitar & David Sanborn on the sax.
Roy is severely underrated as a musician.
We went to see Amos Lee last night for the 4th time. How many artists do you go see and they sound MUCH better live than recorded?

The airborne operation depicted on my chest tattoo was inspired by that sequence in the movie. One of the more colorful members here has the Mark of Taarak tattooed on his neck.
