I'm in Myrtle Beach and I have a 1900 pound block of lead that I need cut up. I'm willing to split it if you can cut it up into manageable size pieces. I'm disabled and just can't do it (that is a very difficult thing to say) IMG_20190519_180803199.jpg

harbor freight sells an electric chain saw that will do what you want. If I was closer I would come and cut up that keel for you. I got plenty of lead but I'm about 180 miles away near Charlotte

I appreciate that. And I was wondering if one of those electric chainsaws from Harbor Freight would be strong enough to cut this thing up. My skill saw only melts the lead enough to bind up and get good and stuck.

it'll do it, and quickly because it bites 'chips' of lead out. You definitely want to wear goggles and gloves, and save the chips ;)

I'll have to go back and look because I was thinking they sent me an email with a 25% off one item. I know sometimes it's only good for lower prices purchases. But I'll use this one if I can't find it. Thanks!

Just a reminder, be careful melting the lead down to ingot size after you cut it up. Ever once in a while there is a air pocket in the lead that fills with water and can cause a pressure explosion of the molten lead. Wear plenty of protective covering.

Most of the 20%/25% coupons exclude Lynxx brand products. That’s the brand of the electric chainsaw my mom bought recently...and she loves hers.
