The Gun Store in Lexington had a new Taurus in the showcase...probably 3-4 years ago. Nice lookin' pistole' but there was a hitch on the gitalong. They'd just discovered it as I walked in.
The magazine was a serious pill to remove. I'm talkin' grit your teeth and set your heels hard. It was all Jim could do to get it out. As anyone who knows Freddy can guess...he was incensed...to put it lightly.
Clues:
It wasn't the mag catch and the magazine itself was to spec in width and length.
Spotted the problem in about 10 seconds after we got the magazine out. Had to partially detail strip it. The fix took about three minutes.
Freddy was happy again.
Readysetgo!
